Airbus have been busy on the quiet, getting the A320neo programme moving and deliveries out to customers.
One of the airlines is All Nippon Airways (ANA), who have taken delivery of their first A320neo aircraft.

The A320neo will be delivered in a two class configuration split in:
- 8 Business Class Seats
- 138 Economy Class Seats
The A320neo will be deployed on short-haul international routes (such as operations to China and Asia), so expect to see these aircraft deployed soon.
This is the first 33 Airbus A320neo family aircraft that ANA will be taking delivery of, split between seven A320neo aircraft and 26 A321neo aircraft. In addition, this marks the first time a Japanese Airline has taken delivery of the new A320neo family.
ANA will be using Pratt & Whitney’s PurePower PW1100G-JM engines
The airline will also be adding four A320ceo aircraft to its family too.
I’ve got to admit – from a short-haul perspective – I like the A320 family for the slightly wider cabin than the 737 family.
Whilst it sums up to a seat that can be up to an inch wider compared to the 737, the comfort factor is important. Even if the A320 sometimes yaps a bit like a dog when taxing…

I like ANA’s 787-9 way better…
