The first A320neo also happens to be the 300th aircraft delivered to EasyJet, marking two milestones in one.
This represents the first of the many – with Easyjet to take delivery of up to 130 Airbus A320neo family aircraft. The airline will be equipping their A320neo aircraft CFM LEAP-1A engines.
Currently, the order for the aircraft is split with 100 A320neo and 30 A321neo’s.
Seating on this plane will feature Recaro SL3510 seats, fitted with Airbus spaceflex layout – with seating for 186 passengers aboard the A320neo. The airline will be fitting 235 seats for the A321neo.

The airline will base its A320neo family fleet initially out of London Luton Airport. The first routes for the new aircraft include Amsterdam, Madrid and Edinburgh.
First commercial flight of the A320neo will be during June 2017.
For EasyJet, it’s another step forward as the airline continues to evolve and renew its fleet. Whilst the airline won’t win on masses of space, for the core market – it will provide a reasonably comfortable and cost-effective way of getting from A to B.
And for this airline – doing that, keeping the short turn around times and making money at the same time is the important thing.
