As we come to the end of the commercial part of the Paris Air Show 2017, and turn into the public display days, it’s time to see who managed to scrape a few more orders in
Boeing
- Tassili Airlines of Algeria announced an order for three 737-800 airplanes

- Ruili Airlines of Kunming, China signed a MoU with Boeing for 20 737 MAX aircraft. Exact types to be determined yet.

- AerCap of Ireland will be converting 15 of its Boeing 737 MAX orders into Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft.
- And finally, One of the big surprises of the day was the announcement that Boeing had secured an order for 125 737 MAX 8, with options for another 50 aircraft. Who the customer is however – Boeing is keeping that card close to its chest.
Airbus
It seems someone has reminded Airbus there’s a show going on, and it was time to get some orders in the bag.
- Zagros Airlines of Iran has signed a MoU for 28 new aircraft – made up of 20 A320neo and 8 A330neo aircraft.
- Iran Airtour Airlines, have also signed a MoU for 45 aircraft A320neo family aircraft
- Tibet Financial Leasing also adds to MoU list for 20 Airbus A321neo aircraft.
- Air Asia signed a fill-in order for 14 Airbus A320ceo aircraft to cope with growth.

Bombardier
A little line of news that Ilyushin Finance and Co. and an undisclosed airline have signed a framework agreement on the lease of six CS300 aircraft. This is from the pool of 20 Ilyushin Finance and Co have a framework agreement for.
Embraer
No new orders, but the airframer has signed an agreement with Airlink of South Africa over maintenance and parts. Airlink recently took delivery of its first E-190 aircraft which due to enter service in the end of June.
ATR
A quiet final day for ATR with no new annoucements. Although they were bigging up their new seat on Social Media. To misquote “Blue Peter” Here’s one I reviewed earlier.
And so…
That brings an end to the commercial part of the Paris Air Show – unless anyone has got a few announcements they have buried in a press release pile somewhere that might slip out tomorrow when most of the press has gone home after cooking in the sweltering heat of a Paris summer.
I’ll be doing a look back at the orders lodged, as well as a few questions this year’s air show raises to the state of the industry as seen by this armchair writer.
