It’s Sunday again – so it must be time for some Airplane Art.
This week resting on the cold tarmac at Helsinki Vantaa Airport in the cold of winter is a Finnair Airbus A350-900 near the maintenance area as it is prepared for its next long haul journey.
Finnair were the European launch operator of the Airbus A350-900, with the airline having 11 of the type in its fleet, with options for eight more – due to be delivered through to 2023.
The A350-900s replaced the A340-300 fleet, and augments Finnair’s Airbus A330-300 long haul aircraft. These aircraft operate across the Finnair long haul network, as well as a daily service between Helsinki and London Heathrow.
And I flew aboard a couple of Finnair’s Airbus A350-900 aircraft. You can check my trip reports here and here.
More Airplane art next week.
