We’ve all been through the recent spate of safety videos, which vary from the achingly long to the not so informative.
Well, there may be one I’ve missed that’s entertaining, and informative.
I draw your attention to Brussels Airlines safety video – featuring the birds it uses in its advertising
So, some intresting highlights from this video…
About PED Use
About the drinking of alcohol not served by the crew…
Safety belts….
About not popping out for a smoke….
Angry smoke detector is angry.
And of course… how to use an oxygen mask (c’mon people… we should know this by now)
Although you will look like a duck.
We all know the purpose of a safety video – to educate and inform passengers of how to get out of an aircraft alive, and be safe on a plane.
A bit of whimsy with well delivered information makes a good safety video… and whilst Brussels Airlines may have gone slightly more whimsy or surreal than needed – but it presents the information in a humorous format.
And if you’ve been in a ball of stress getting on a plane and trying to get settled… this isn’t a bad thing to settle you.
