Pre-departure
Departure was from Dublin Terminal 2, with security taking 10 minutes or so to clear. Once clear, the actual boarding area was the bussing area that is in-between T2 and T1 from Gate 333.
Boarding
Boarding was via bus, with boarding split by row 1-10, then all other rows on the plane. Two busses were used to transfer passengers from the terminal to the ATR apron
The plane
It’s an ATR72-600. Part of the Stobart Air fleet that flies for Aer Lingus Regional, with EI-FAV doing the honours.
The seats
Aer Lingus Regional use a variant of the ACRO Series 3 Seat. This is a pre-reclined Seat, pitched at 29″.
IFE and connectivity
None installed onboard
Food and Drink
An abbreviated version of the Bia service was carried out, with a high uptake in the cabin.
The views
With a hot Irish and British summer, it was a lovely view in the air.
