It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, waiting at the gate for its next long haul departure is a Lufthansa Airbus A380 at Munich Airport (and also named “Munich”).
Lufthansa operate a fleet of 14 Airbus A380 aircraft, with nine of the fleet based at Frankfurt-am-Main, and five based at Munich AIrport. These operate on long haul services out of Munich as well as Frankfurt.
The four-class Airbus A380s are supported by various aircraft in the Lufthansa long haul fleet, including Airbus A330s Airbus A340s, Airbus A350 and Boeing 747 family aircraft.
