Evelop Airlines is the latest airline to join the Airbus A350 family – with the airline taking delivery of its first frame.

Evelop Airlines is a subsidiary of Barceló Group’s Ávoris travel division. The aircraft have been leased from Air Lease Corporation – and will be based out of Madrid Barajas.
It is planned to use the plane between Spain and Caribbean destinations.
For those who are looking comfort – look away now, as the plane will be fitted with 432 seats in a single class configuration. The plane will have in-flight entertainment fitted, with screens at each seat.
Evelop Airlines operates an all-Airbus fleet, split by:
- one A320-200
- one A330-200
- three A330-300
They are due to receive another A350 in 2020.
Slow expansion – but 432 seats on an Airbus A350…
With the airline leasing its fleet, it’s a slow and steady growth for Evelop Airlines. Considering how some airlines have over-expanded to their cost – this is a welcome to see.
It also adds extra capacity – with 432 seats. I haven’t got wind of how they’re getting that many seats in – so far, they’ve stuck with standard seat layouts of 2-4-2 in their A330 fleet, which holds 383 passengers. In theory, 432 should be doable in 3-3-3 that an A350 can offer.
Let’s hope it’s not 3-4-3 seat layout to hit that 432 seat count.
