AVIO Interiors are back at it again with the SkyRider 2.0… in a lot more mature state than last year.
If we look at last year’s model verses this year’s model, there are improvements with the footrest, as well as the headrest position on the seat.
The saddle has also been improved, so it is more upward than downward from the previous year’s model.
If this is anything like last year’s model, expect tight pitches at 23″, with a very high density seat count.
And I’m sorry – this is one seat I never want to see in the air.

I would be very happy to see this seat in the air on certain short flights. SIN-KUL and GIG/SDU-GRU/CGH come immediately to mind. If the seat can bring the price of a <1 hour flight down to the price of a 5 hour bus trip, the existence of this seat could improve journeys for many people, and would be no less comfortable than the rush hour subway commutes people tolerate everyday.

I’m getting claustrophobic just looking at that.,..the idea of the back of the seat in front of me being that close to my face…. *shudders*
