It seems that British Airways has chosen to drop the Financial Times from its on-board paper selection. And it seems the FT isn’t overly happy about it.
The FT ran a half-page advert… and well… see below.

This is passive aggressiveness at it’s best. The last line the piece should indicate how unhappy the FT is at the suspension of their paper being carried (either in paper form or in reader form)
“Of course, the world’s favourite business newspaper is widely available on a range of other leading airlines”
It should come as no surprise that Virgin Atlantic has picked this up with speed, with a series of two tweets, with the airline carrying the paper on their services
Dear readers of the @FinancialTimes, it’s not too late to change your airline. pic.twitter.com/QX2Ndnjeyl

A good troll for Virgin, and sour grapes at British Airways?
Some airlines are good at trolling other airlines… and Virgin Atlantic is always happy to do a little bit of trolling when it suits them. However, it seems the relationship between British Airways and the Financial Times has broken down to the point when carrying a paper “becomes an option”.
For those who rely on the Financial Times , they’ll be needing to look elsewhere if they want it included on-board… or dread the thought – buy a copy before they board a British Airways plane.
