For some, a good night out can be a cheeky Nandos (as it caters to many tastes, be it gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant – as well as the spice levels and reasonably priced chicken), and so on.
Well, it seems Jet2 is bringing a chance to enjoy a cheeky Nandos in the sky with the latest products – and two new products offering in the air.
So what is Jet2 offering?
- A dip, drizzle and dunk ‘Nando’s Box’ which includes creamy houmous, smoky peri-peri drizzle and lightly salted pitta chips.
- Nando’s Half-popped Corn, a mild and delicious snacking option where fluffy popcorn meets crunchy corn.

You will want to check the packaging too, with some of these boxes will Nando’s vouchers, entitling one person to a free Nando’s meal.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said:
“The addition of these two fantastic snacking options give our customers even more great choice than ever, and mean that we are the first UK airline to offer Nando’s products on our In-Flight menu. We have already made a number of exciting changes to our In-Flight menu this year, and we are sure this brand new menu will delight customers even more. We pride ourselves on delivering the very best customer service in every area, which was recognised at the recent TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice™ awards for airlines where we won five awards, and we can’t wait for our customers to try the exciting choice on this new menu.”,
Wait… no Peri Peri Chicken?
Nope – No such luck for those who want peri-peri chicken with all the sides on board. Besides, I think the regulators might have something to say about an open flame cooking station on an aircraft.
For those who don’t like the spice of Piri Piri, there are also Vegan options -including a Penne Arrabbiata pasta dish, ‘Gnaw’ chocolate bars will be joining them tool.
Nando’s Half-popped Corn – which is also suitable for vegans – will be there too for those who want some spice in their life.
However, its an interesting partnership to say the least, which caters to the market. I’ll be interesting if they expand the product line, or if the cheeky Nandos is relegated to the ground…
H/T to twcaw for alerting me to this… catering item.
