Pieter Elbers – CEO & President KLM said
“We have built up a robust transatlantic network thanks to our joint ventures with Air France and Delta Air Lines. We will continue to optimise this network. As part of this we launched services to Boston and Las Vegas in the summer and are now adding Austin to our North American destinations.”
19th North American destination
KLM’s destination portfolio increases, with a planned 19 destinations served directly by the airline – and many more thanks to the Joint Business Venture that is has with Air France and Delta. Whilst Austin itself has limited onward traffic, the frequencies are enough for a tentative dip into Austin – and to see if its worth building out more capacity there in the longer term.
