Hot of the new that American Airlines are launching a Boston to Heathrow route, IAG low-cost airline LEVEL are planning to launch a Paris-Orly to Boston Logan Airport.

The new route will operate three times a week between Orly and Boston, based on the following timetable:
IB2693 DEPART ORY 19:15 ARRIVE BOS 21:00B IB2694 DEPART BOS 23:00 ARRIVE ORY 12:05+1 Commences 31st March 2020 Operates Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays Booked equipment: LEVEL Airbus A330-200
LEVEL operate their Airbus A330-200s in a two-class configuration, with a Premium Economy with 21 seats 293 seats in the economy cabin (at least LEVEL has maintained a 2-4-2 seat layout in Economy)
Lead-in fares start at €99 one way in the economy at €399 in premium economy – and tickets are waiting to be sold according to the LEVEL site
Of course at the bottom end, LEVEL is a low cost carrier – so expect upsells for seating, food, luggage – the usual fare.
Measured growth
LEVEL’s long haul network is slowly growing and stabilising – which in these uncertain times where airlines can stop operating is a welcome thing to see. Going into markets with guns-a-blazing is never a good idea, where as measured growth allow an airline to test the water with a route, then add capacity if needed.
For LEVEL, ensuring enough equipment as well as routes to utilise that equipment will be key – as well as not canablising business from other airlines in the IAG grouping…
