Etihad introduces new faces coverings for premium passengers (it’s a Snood)

05/08/2020 by Kevincm

Etihad Airways has launched new protective wear for First and Business class passengers.

And it’s a snood that the airline is offering.

The snood which Etihad is offering can be worn around the neck like a scarf and when close to others, pull it up over their mouth and nose to protect themselves and those around them.

The snoods are made out of lightweight, breathable and stretchy jersey fabric, so you slip it on and off as needed.

It is reusable, so you can use it post-travel. It is treated with “MicrobeBARRIER” fabric treatment. This is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial treatment, laboratory tested and proven to reduce the presence of germs in fabrics.

This allows the snoods to be reusable and washable, meaning they can be used multiple times after you’ve enjoyed your Etihad flight.

These will be available in premium classes (Business Class and First Class).

The snoods are part of the Etihad Wellness package that the airline is pushing both on the ground and onboard, as it convinces passengers to travel and take to the air again.

Looks so much more comfortable to wear than Qatar’s face shield!

The Qatar face shield whilst effective seems to be used a hammer to crack a nut….
