It seems that the results from the UK Government Global Travel Taskforce Review has caused a stink (I’ll be going into it later), with Jet2 and its subsidiary, Jet2 Holidays extending its suspension through to 23rd June 2021

In a statement, the airline said
Because of the continued uncertainty following the release of the Global Travel Taskforce framework, it is with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision to extend the suspension of flights up to and including 23rd June 2021.
The airline adds
It has been over a year since international travel was first suspended because of the pandemic. Much has been achieved in that time, making it even more frustrating that we are still to receive a clear framework on how to restart international travel. We know it can be done, in a safe and secure way, and we will continue to support the Government to achieve this.

If you’ve got outstanding bookings between now at the 23rd of June, the airline will cancel your bookings and be in touch in regards to your refund or rebooking.
Disappointing. But then there’s the Global Task Force Review.
I’m reading into some of the headlines from the review, and it appears that the review is causing more questions than not.
That’s something I’ll dive into properly later.
