With easyJet adjusting its resources due to the UK Governments travel policies, the airline is to add 12 new routes on sale to cater to domestic demand, as people seek to holiday beyond Royston Vasey.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager commented:
“We know our customers can’t wait to be reunited with friends and family or to explore the UK so these additional new routes today should prove popular and will further strengthen our UK domestic network providing customers with even more choice.
“We were sorry to see the news about Stobart Air and so are pleased to continue to provide key regional connectivity from Belfast International Airport to East Midlands and Leeds Bradford airports, as well as launching easyJet operations for the very first time from Belfast City Airport to London Gatwick.
“We also know it is important to our customers to be reunited with loved ones overseas so we continue to urge the UK government to add more countries to the Green list – which can be done safely – to make this possible.”
Filling in connectivity gaps, whilst trying to salvage the summer
With easyJet trying to recover what there is of a summer programme (with no thanks in part to the bumbling at Number 10 Downing Street), easyJet is adjusting capacity to where it thinks it can carry passengers – be it sending the fleet to countries where it can fly more passengers.
For UK Domestic passengers seeking to catch up with family or trying to get away from the day-to-day madness, it offers options.
And this summer – we might need them more than ever.
