Ryanair adds four new routes for winter 2021 from Dublin

17/08/2021 by Kevincm

It seems with Ireland opening up, Ryanair is adding new routes and capacity out of Dublin Airport.

The airline will operate the following route out of Dublin:

  • Cardiff (Wales) 4 times a week
  • Kosice (Slovakia) 2 times a week
  • Plovdiv (Bulgaria) 2 times a week
  • Sibiu (Romania) 2 times a week

From Dublin, the airline will operate over 720 weekly flights to 90 destinations for the winter 21 season.

Lead-in prices start at €19.99, which will get you a seat and a carry on bag. Trolly bags that go in the overhead bin, checked luggage, advance seat assignment, food and scratchcards are, of course, extra.

The lead-in price is available until midnight Thursday, 19th August on the Ryanair site, for travel until March 2022.

Ryanair’s Director of Commercial, Jason McGuinness, said:

“As Europe’s largest airline, we are delighted to announce 4 new Winter routes from Dublin to Cardiff, Kosice, Plovdiv and Sibiu for those who are looking to enjoy city break.

Irish families / visitors can now book a well-earned winter getaway safe in the knowledge that if their plans change, they can move their travel dates with a zero-change fee up until the end of December 2021.

To celebrate, we are releasing a seat sale from just €19.99 for travel until the end of March which will be available to book until midnight Thursday, 19th August. Since these amazing low prices will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com to avoid missing out.”

Opening up

With Ireland now taking part in the European Green Pass with gusto, it seems Ryanair is happy to develop its network from its home base, offering new destinations – as well as the capacity to serve those destinations.

As always, it will be interesting to see which destinations are suspended and which thrive over time, as well as any changes that happen down the line.
