Whilst we might be on the final day of the Aircraft Interior Expo, the pace continues, with Tibet Airlines selecting Recaro Aircraft Seating Products for their Airbus A319neo.
To enable a premium seating option on board the aircraft, Tibet Airlines also selected the CL4710 for the aircraft’s business class cabin.
Meanwhile, in economy class, the BL3710 is being deployed.
Tibet Airlines has ordered twenty-six shipsets, with the first delivery planned for September 2022.
Reasons cited include the low weight of the seats, as well as the ergonomics of the seat, allowing for passenger comfort, whilst reducing the total cost of ownership.
The airline is based in Chengdu and serves more than 40 destinations in 4 countries. As well as the upcoming A319neo, the airline is an all-Airbus operator, flying the Airbus A319, Airbus A320 and Airbus A330-200, with an active fleet size of 38 aircraft in total.
