It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a United Airlines Boeing 767-300ER on final approach to Chicago O’Hare International in the “new” United Blue Globe livery as it completes its long-distance journey.
United Airlines operate a fleet of 37 Boeing 767-300ER aircraft in its fleet. The airline also operates its Boeing 757-200, Boeing 767-400ER, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft in its long haul operation.
This aircraft – N674UA – joined the United airlines fleet in April 2000, where it has remained through the Continental Meger. Since its delivery, its been upgraded, with the interiors brought up to date and the aircraft fitted with wingtip devices for fuel saving.
In recent days, this aircraft has been focused on United Airlines North America to Europe network, operating out of Washington Dulles and Newark Airport to Zurich, Geneva and London Heathrow.
