It’s Sunday and the start of a new Lunar New Year, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a China Eastern Airlines Boeing 777-300ER climbing out of Chicago O’Hare International as it begins the journey to Shanghai.
China Eastern operate 20 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in its long-haul fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for these operations.
This aircraft – B-2003 – joined the China Eastern fleet in November 2014. It has remained in service with the airline since then.
Over the past week, it has seen some use, operating out of Shanghai Pudong Airport, heading to Europe, and serving Amsterdam, London Heathrow and Frankfurt.
More Airplane Art next week!

- No matter how I play with the colour balance, I still cannot make the China Eastern livery any more interesting. Sorry!
