The salad item shortage has been blamed on many things, to the point that those who need more than a few packs have to shop at multiple supermarkets. Which as we know is a major problem of our time.
Just remember if you are going to bring back produce, you check UK Customs to see what you are allowed to bring back.
And make sure you don’t squash the tomatoes on the way home. That would be a waste of a journey.
