Want to escape the Great British Tomato shortage? Eurostar has an answer…

24/02/2023 by Kevincm

With supplies of certain salad produce being limited at certain supermarkets in the United Kingdom, Eurostar has come to the rescue – providing you don’t want to follow Thérèse Coffey‘s advice of “Let them eat turnips“.

The salad item shortage has been blamed on many things, to the point that those who need more than a few packs have to shop at multiple supermarkets. Which as we know is a major problem of our time.

Just remember if you are going to bring back produce, you check UK Customs to see what you are allowed to bring back.

And make sure you don’t squash the tomatoes on the way home. That would be a waste of a journey.

Brilliantly played Eurostar.

What else can I say? Play to a situation and take advantage of it.  And Eurostar is doing that brilliantly.

Brilliantly played.
