As we pass over the halfway hump of the year, it’s time to catch up on what I have been scribing about this week.
It’s time for Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond.
Centenary Square, Birmingham.
If you’ve noticed it’s been quieter than usual (and we’ve had a non-publishing day as well), things in the real world are hectic. All I’m going to say is this: If I see a Windows Out-of-the-Box onboarding screen, it will be far too soon.

Passenger Experience
- ANA and The Pokemon Company unveil “The Eevee Jet” – I was going to link “The Eevee Song”, but it might break some of the grown-up Pokemon fans…
- Helsinki Airport adjusts liquids rules with a new scanner rollout – 2 litres of liquid per passenger, and you don’t need to unpack your bags… having not unpack your bag is heaven.
Pretty pictures
Next Week
I’m still buried deep in “enjoying” the Windows Out of the Box Experience with enough laptops to sink another battleship. During this time, my publishing is still going to be limited, rather than planned usual fun things.
We’ll try and keep things above water with our usual mixture of news, views and stored articles that I forgot to push the publish button on.
Stay safe out there and happy landings!
