Norse Atlantic Airways to add routes from Paris and Berlin to Miami

12/07/2023 by Kevincm

Norse Atlantic Airways is doubling-down on Miami, with plans to launch services from both Paris and Miami.

The move will add additional flights to Miami, supporting the London and Oslo operations.

Services from Paris to Miami commence on the 11th of December 2023, and Berlin to Miami from the 15th of December 2023, with leading fares starting from €219 from Paris and €239 from Berlin (one-way, including taxes).

As usual, Norse Atlantic Airways operates Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on these routes, with both Premium and Economy cabins. Within those cabins, passengers can choose from a simple range of fares, Light, Classic and Flextra, that reflect the way that they want to travel, and which options are important to them. Light fares represent Norse’s value option while Flextra fares include the maximum baggage allowance, two meal services an enhanced airport and onboard experience and increased ticket flexibility.

Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO of Norse Atlantic Airways said:

“Miami has long been recognized as a sought after winter sun location and we are delighted to connect even more European cities to this vibrant destination. Thanks to Norse Atlantic there are now affordable direct air links from Paris, Berlin, London and Oslo to Miami throughout the winter season meaning more travellers will now be able to experience these amazing destinations on both sides of the Atlantic,”

A busy winter

It seems that Norse Atlantic is still trying to crack certain markets, with Berlin and Paris needing additional attention to boost traffic.

With the winter sun still a major draw for travellers, Norse will be hoping that Miami will prove to be the path to riches and sustainable growth for the season ahead, whilst consolidating its Miami hub.

Berlin to Miami is a little unexpected, the most popular beach spots for German tourists in Florida are on the southwestern coast, flying through TPA or RSW or combining a beach trip on the SW coast or the central Eastern coast with Orlando by rental car.

Possibly relatively more interest in Miami from Berlin than from Germany as a whole?

    Should be interesting to watch.
