Tom Stoddart, CEO of BA Euroflyer, said:
“Agadir is a coastal destination that enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year, so we know it will see strong demand from our leisure customers and particularly those seeking holiday packages. It offers beaches, golf courses and water sports alongside the opportunity to experience cultural landmarks, such as Agadir Kasbah.”

Dots, Lines and Keeping the Cityflyer Fleet Busy
For the Gatwick new flight, it’s about giving further options, whilst facing the competition from the low-cost carriers. It seems the airline will try to offer a premium product on this route, as well as its normal Eurotraveller offer as a step away from them.
As for Stansted, it gives the BA Citiflyer fleet something else to do at the weekend, other than sit on the ground at City Airport (and importantly, not earn revenue). With the CityFlyer fleet dispersed at the weekend from City to bases such as Southampton and Edinburgh), it offers the chance for some British AIrwatys passengers to skip Heathrow or Gatwick – especially if they live in Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, yet still desire the BA experience,
But for passengers, it gives the most important thing of all – options.

Does BA contract out ground handling in smaller locations, or can they dispatch employees from another station to handle these? Three flight a week sounds like something not worth the effort, especially when the environmentalists find out about the positioning flights necessary.
