It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Air India Boeing 777-200LR taxiing at San Francisco International as it prepares to depart the airport for a return trip to India.
Air India operates a fleet of eight Boeing 777-200LR in its widebody fleet. The airline also currently operates the Airbus A350-900, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8. These will be supplemented with the Airbus A350-1000 and Boeing 787-9 in the future.
This aircraft – VT-ALF is also known as Jharkhand. It was delivered to the airline in June 2009, where it has remained since.
This is one of the older Boeing 777-200LRs the airline has, and was a regular on the Dehli – San Francisco route, however, its most recent flight was to Nagpur on the 26th of February, where it appeared to be parked.
More Airplane Art next week.
