It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER at Hamburg Airport as it is readied for its return trip back to Dubai.
Emirates operates an active fleet of 123 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in five different configurations. They are supported by the Boeing 777-200LR and the Airbus 380 fleet.
The airline is in the process of commencing a fleet upgrade, with further aircraft added – a total of 191 to be refitted.
Together, these aircraft connect Dubai to the world.
This aircraft – A6-EGJ – joined the Emirates fleet in December 2011, where it has remained. There was a period where the aircraft was stored, before being returned to service. It’s been busy operating from Dubai to Male, Johannesburg, Hyderabad, London Stansted, Hamburg, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Stockholm, Lusaka, Harare and Frankfurt
More Airplane Art next week.
