We’re well into autumn, with the nights drawing in and political parties leaving cities behind after causing chaos with transport systems.
It must be time for Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond.

Trip Report: Taking the Long Way (and back) to Singapore
Four posts from my writing hand this week, as I line up next week’s entries on the blog (and we’ve got some big entries next week). It’s probably another four entries unless something happens in the meantime.
- BA776 London Heathrow to Stockholm Arlanda (Club Europe)
- Into Stockholm and The ABBA Museum
- Off to Stockholm Bromma, AY840 Stockholm Bromma to Helsinki Vantaa
- A Rapid Helsinki Transit and the Finnair Non-Schengen Lounge
Routes and Networks
- Qatar Airways to add a non-stop service to Toronto, Canada – Four times a week
- SAS attempts to strengthen Swedish Operation – Whilst some routes take a haircut at the same time
- Aer Lingus to launch a service to Nashville TN, with an Airbus A321XLR – Let us see if they can launch it.
The business of aviation
- Qatar Airways takes a 25% ownership of Virgin Australia – providing the Australian regulators are convinced, it could open up a lot of travel to Doha
- Japan Airlines and Garuda Indonesia sign a Joint Business Agreement – For more than country and for home
