It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Air France Airbus A220-300 at Helsinki Airport as it prepared for its return trip to Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Air France operates a fleet of Airbus 37 A220-300 aircraft in its single-aisle fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A318, Airbus A319, Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 in this side of the airline’s operation.
These aircraft connect Paris to Europe, providing medium-lift capacity, where the type is replacing older and smaller Airbus single-aisle aircraft.
This aircraft – F-HPNC – is named Gaillac. It joined the Air France fleet in July 2023, where it has remained. Being a short-haul aircraft, it has been all over the network, operating out of Paris to Geneva, Prague, Istanbul, Zurich, Nice, London LHR, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Venice, Stockholm, and Helsinki.
More Airplane Art next week.
