JetBlue is continuing to expand its Mosaic Status match programme, to include three new airlines.
The Match to Mosaic programme has been expanded to cover Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines and Frontier Airlines.
Match to Mosaic gives customers who have status on other qualifying US airlines TrueBlue Mosaic status for a limited period.

Qualifying customers will receive complimentary Mosaic 1 or Mosaic 2 status for three months with opportunities to keep their current status or by levelling up (up to Mosaic 3). Please allow up to four weeks for processing.
Customers have the option to keep or level up/down their status through the end of the following year by the below number of tiles within the three months:
- Mosaic 1: 10 Tiles
- Mosaic 2: 25 Tiles
- Mosaic 3: 40 Tiles
During the three months of Match to Mosaic, participants will receive all Signature Perks associated with their matched Mosaic status level and one pre-selected Perk You Pick.
Tiles are earned either by 1 tile for every $100 spent on Jetblue flights (including many extras and fees), JetBlue Vacations, Paisley by JetBlue. You can also earn 1 tile per $1000 of JetBlue credit card spend.
If you meet the Tile requirements and complete the appropriate challenge, you will be able to select their own Perks You Pick after earning status through the following year.
Worth it?
If you live in a JetBlue-served market and have been travelling on their competitors, this could be a chance to defect and try and different product to see if its route network and product offering suits your needs.
As well, as that, you’ll need to set aside over $1200 for Mosaic 1, and nearly $3000 for Moasic 2 (given that not all parts of the fares will contribute to earning tiles).
So your timing will be critical to when you pull the trigger on this match.
And you should always check out the terms and conditions – they’re at jetblue.com/trueblue/mosaic/
It’s interesting that JetBlue is aggressively targeting some of the low-cost competitors (especially when Southwest is having a struggle for its soul, and Spirit is shedding 20 aircraft at a time when getting new aircraft is going to be hard until the 2030s).
It could be a perfect time to poach customers – providing the network matches up to your requirements..
Therein, is the real challenge.
