It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a British Airways Boeing 787-10 on final approach to Chicago O’Hare International International Airport as it completed the journey from London Heathrow.
British Airways operates a fleet of 10 Boeing 787-10 aircraft (the largest version of 787) in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A350-1000, Airbus A380, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 in its widebody operation.
With the rest of its widebody aircraft, they help connect London and the United Kingdom to the world.
This aircraft – G-ZBLJ – is relatively new to the British Airways fleet, joining in September 2024, making it just over a month in service at the time this photo was taken. It is focused on the airline’s North American operation operating out of its home of London Heathrow to Seattle, Chicago, and New York JFK (with the majority of its recent flights to Seattle.
More Airplane Art next week.
