We’ve reached the end of another week, mainly filled with news, announcements and my asthma making a comeback when it is least wanted or expected.
So whilst I’m still upright and can still hit letters on a keyboard, it’s time for Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond.
Pick your drug of choice, Subutamol, Budesonide with formoterol or Caffine.
Backtracks and U-Turns. Of sorts
- Fixing the barn door after the horse has bolted? British Airways adds clarifications to its planned changes to “The Club” – Some good news, but there might be better options out there.
Routes and Networks
- Etihad Airways to offer daily flights with its upcoming service to Atlanta – Scaling to daily flights in November
Business Of Aviation
- Lufthansa Group begins integrating ITA Airways into itself – We are The Borg. Resistance is Futile.
- Norse Atlantic to lease a Boeing 787 to IndiGo – And maybe more in the future.
Passenger Experience
- Viasat Connects STARLUX’s Entire Fleet with High-Speed IFC Solution – Better connectivity in the air on the way for STARLUX.
- Virgin Atlantic switches on Find My Share Item Location – Just remember to change your AirTag battery once a year.
Pretty Pictures
Next Week
We’ll skip with pleasantries next week as I kick off a new trip report covering Euro Business Class and my little adventure to Romania (provided I can type without coughing constantly… that would help a lot in the editing process).
On top of that, providing I feel more than a little more human than this week, we’ll have whatever news that passes over the desk of interest.
And no, I’m not done with the BA changes yet. That requires more mathematics than my brain can take at the moment.
Until then, Happy Landings!
