It seems the refit programme to upgrade the Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A380 continues apace at Emirates, with the airline adding further destinations for its refitted fleet.
Eight new destinations are on the list. They include Lisbon, Dublin, Hong Kong, Male, Kolkata, Colombo, Johannesburg and Cape Town.

A busy time for the refit programme
Emirates continues to update its fleet at speed, with an aircraft receiving its nose-to-tail facelift and rolling out into service every three weeks, including the installation of four-cabin setups with brand-new Business Class seats (in a 1-2-1 formation) and Premium Economy cabin (with 24 seats in a 2-4-2 formation) and 260 Economy Class Seats.

The airline aims to serve 44 cities with its fleet of refurbished Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft by September 2025.
We’ll have to see how they do, but the rate at which Emirates is refurbishing its fleet is impressive. And if it removes that middle seat in business class for passenger selection, so much more, the better.
