- Etihad Airways to launch a new service to Charlotte, NC – Well, that’s different.
Orders
- Avrilease to order up to 30 Boeing 737-8 aircraft – In addition, both Qatar Airways and Etihad also put in orders with Boeing.
- Braathens Regional Airlines renews its maintenance agreement with ATR Aircraft
Rail
- Greater Anglia Railway Company to be nationalised in October – The third company to move back under control.

I’ll be wrapping up the Chicago Trip Report (with a little sting in the tail… because everyone loves a sting at the end). Whilst I do have a Hamburg trip report too, I might hold off on it for a little bit. Whilst it’s mostly written, it needs images assigned to it.
