Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, said:
“Krakow and Salalah each bring something special to our network – from UNESCO-listed heritage in Poland to refreshing green landscapes in Oman during the Khareef season.
“As we continue to grow Etihad’s footprint globally, our focus remains simple: to directly link Abu Dhabi with places people want to visit, and warmly welcome more visitors to experience our beautiful home and the UAE’s capital. We’ve already celebrated inaugural flights to several new destinations this year and continue to add routes that matter to our guests.”
Shaping the 2026 network
With the Summer 2025 ready to go into high gear, airline planners are looking beyond this, to the destinations and demand for the summer 2026 network – be it through demand modelling, passenger requests or having an incentive to launch a route to a city.
For now, Etihad Airways plans to offer over 90 destinations through its hub at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi. Knowing the airline has been on an expansion streak, I would expect a few more destinations between now and the summer 2026 timetable kicking off.
For now, ticketing is opening for these new routes via Etihad’s usual sale channels.
