For those in the south of England who require connectivity to Dubai and beyond, Emirates is increasing capacity on the Dubai-London Gatwick route with the introduction of a fourth daily service.
This fourth daily flight between Dubai and London Gatwick will commence on 8 February 2026, operating daily.
Planned operations for this service are:
EK069 DEPART DXB 17:05 ARRIVE LGW 20:50 EK079 DEPART LGW 23:55 ARRIVE DXB 11:00 Commences 8th February 2026 Operates Daily Booked Equipment: Emirates Three-Class Airbus A350-900
Operated by an A350-900 aircraft in a three-class configuration, Emirates’ new service EK069/070 will offer customers 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats, and 238 Economy Class seats. It marks the second deployment of the Emirates Airbus A350-900 to the UK (with the airline currently servicing Edinburgh with the type).
The fourth flight to London Gatwick brings the airline’s total London services to 12 flights across three airports, offering customers more departure time choices and greater flexibility.
The new service’s timing as the “last flight of the day” between Dubai and London in both directions caters to customers travelling directly between the two cities. For those travelling to Dubai, the service provides the ideal arrival time for customers to check in to their hotels and get a head start on their Dubai activities. Customers departing Dubai on the flight can make the most of their time in the city—finishing business meetings, enjoying extended shopping, or completing last-minute activities—before taking the evening flight to London.
Tickets for this flight are available via Emirates’ usual distribution channels.
More connectivity between Dubai and the United Kingdom.
Emirates’ imprint on the UK regions and airports cannot be overstated, serving airports that certain flag carriers have turned their nose up at, while building connections and connectivity.
The airline currently services London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh with a mix of Airbus A350s, Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s, with at least 12 flights a day to the London region (Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted), with over 140 flights a day between the Dubai and United Kingdom, providing both origin and destination traffic, as well as the connecting traffic which the airline is famous for.
With Qatar Airways adding extra capacity recently, the battle is on again to attract passengers, based on services, timings and products.
And choice is sometimes a wonderful thing to have.
