It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a United Airlines Boeing 777-200ER at San Francisco International Airport as it is resupplied before it heads off on its next long-haul mission.
United Airlines operates a fleet of 55 Boeing 777-200ER aircraft in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates the Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 767-400ER, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10 in its widebody operation.
Together, these aircraft connect destinations both on US domestic trunk routes, as well as providing connectivity for its international network.
The aircraft in this picture is N784UA. The aircraft joined the United Airlines fleet in April 1997, remaining in the post-merger United fleet. The aircraft was stored for a period between August 2021 and August 2022.
The aircraft has recently operated out of United Airlines hubs of San Francisco, Newark, and Los Angeles to Frankfurt, Tokyo Haneda, Sao Paulo, Milan and Munich.
More Airplane Art next week!
