The new route will commence on 4th August 2026, with this being the ninth destination on the aairline’snetwork, as operations continue to grow.

Daily flights between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh will be operated by Riyadh Air’s new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
According to the airline, the Mumbai-Riyadh route will offer onward connectivity to Europe and the Middle East, catering to both business and leisure travellers from India. This first flight from India demonstrates Riyadh Air’s commitment to one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing aviation markets.
The route meets the significant Indian demand for business and leisure travel to Saudi Arabia and Europe, as well as expatriate communities, who now have a new option for their travel back to India.
Tickets are now on sale via Riyadh Air’s usual distribution channels.

With Riyadh Air in its first growth spurt, destinations have been announced including Dhaka, Cairo, Kuala Lumpur, Jeddah, Madrid, Malaga, Dubai, London Heathrow and Manchester in the first wave of launches.
How it grows from here will be down to what the network planners have, as well as the number of aircraft in the fleet.
Currently, Riyadh Air operates three Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, as well as its Technical Spare.
