It’s just about Sunday still, so it’s time for Airplane Art Extra, because you’ve all been good and your author is still awake.
For this second post this evening, and for no reason at all related to any football-related tournaments, we have an Iberia Airbus A330-300 on final Approach to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
Iberia operates a fleet of eight of the payload-optimised Airbus A330-300 in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates the range-optimised Airbus A330-200, as well as the Airbus A350-900 in its widebody operation.
This aircraft – EC-LYF is named Juan Carlos I. It joined the Iberia fleet in November 2013, with it remaining in the fleet since then. The aircraft is active within the Iberia operation, flying from its Madrid base to Sao Paulo, Santo Domingo, London Heathrow and Miami.
Congratulations, Spain, on your win, and of course, there’s more Airplane Art next week at our usual timeslot.
