We’re onto one of the last deals announced at Farnborough 2026, with Aerolíneas Argentinas signing lease agreements for 14 New Aircraft.
The company signed agreements with lessors at the Farnborough International Airshow and is moving forward with a plan to renew 25% of its total fleet and 60% of its long-haul fleet. This will encompass 20 aircraft in total.
At Farnborough, contracts for 14 of these aircraft were formalised.
Aerolíneas Argentinas have signed for six Airbus A330neo and eight Boeing 737 MAX 10. The first aircraft will be joining the Aerolíneas fleet as of the first quarter of 2027, with the arrival of a new Boeing 737 MAX 8. These have been sourced from Aviation Capital Group.
As for the long-haul fleet, the Airbus A330neo aircraft are set to join as of the first half of 2028. These first aircraft will feature a 291-seat configuration: 30 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy, and 237 in Economy. These have been leased from Avolon.
The plan also includes six Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, two of which are already under contract, with the remaining four currently in the process of being added to the fleet.

On the 737 lease, he added:

These aircraft are a key part of our 2027-2031 fleet plan and will allow us to add capacity on high-demand domestic and regional routes, improve operating efficiency and continue offering a more competitive product to our passengers. This agreement reflects Aerolíneas Argentinas’ commitment to building a more modern, efficient and sustainable fleet for the years ahead,”
Thomas Baker, Chief Executive Officer and President of ACG, said:
