20/06/2012 by Kevincm

Air France has recently released a set of measures to restore profits across the Air France group. Things that scare the TSA: Apple Awards

19/06/2012 by Kevincm

Adding to the list that make the TSA go a bit giddy are Futuristic design awards it seems. Juraj Hlaváč had won an Apple Designs Award at the recent Apple  World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco for the educational game called "Bobo Explores Light" developed by his company, Game Collage. 19/06/2012 by Kevincm

One of Ryanair's past-times is the constant stalking of Aer Lingus. Ryanair (who own 29.8% of Aer Lingus) has placed a fat offer of a 694 million euro cash bid for Aer Lingus in a new attempt to gain of EI, at 1.30 euros per share There are two rather big obstacles to overcome for a takeover however - The Office of Fair Trading ruled that Ryanair's ownership of the … [Read more...]

There's a short but sweet website for those of you who want to let your Member of Parliament (MP) know EXACTLY how you feel about Air Passenger Duty (APD). It's "A Fair Tax On Flying - http://www.afairtaxonflying.org/" and it's simple aim is pile the pressure on MP's to raise the question of APD in the Westminster Chambers and to try and reduce the pain that is APD. What’s in… the Aer Lingus Elite Matching Kit?

18/06/2012 by Kevincm

Well I plumped for Aer Lingus Gold (well, lets face it - it's a Gold I'll actually use as the Aer Lingus service between Birmingham and Dublin mainly because it's 1) marginally more expensive that Ryanair (we're talking about £1-£2 at most) and 2) I get treated a lot more humanely as opposed to being treated like cattle.) So what's in the kit? Envelope - … [Read more...]
