U2: To open a new base at… London.. Southend?

For starters, Southend is nowhere near London - it's about 50 minutes to an hour away - then again how Seoul Inchon and Toyko Narita can claim the same is beyond me...But EasyJet sees some value in this little outpost in the heartlands of White Stilettos, by opening a base there in April 2012. Strike Action: Heathrow Express/Heathrow Connect – Here we go again.

Well it seems the RMT is still in a paddy with the operators of the Heathrow Express, and have called their workers out to action again. The strike is scheduled to begin at 09:15 on 26 June, and will last for 24 hours.
