Aegean follows other airlines – launchs a discount light fare and a flex fare

It seems that the "Hand baggage Only" fares are continuing to grow, with Aegean Airlines now offering two new fare - GoLight and Flex Go Light is the Hand Baggage only fare featuring: 1 Hand Luggage item at 8kg Changes for can be made  €30/£25 for domestic flights and €40/£32 for short international flights and €50/£40 for longer international flights. Here we go again. Aegean goes after Olympic Air

It what seems like a sense of deja vu, Aegean Airlines have announced a deal to acquire Olympic Air from its current owners- Marfin Investment Group - for €72 million. Aegean plan to turn Olympic into a subsidiary brand of Aegean, whist retaining the two brands up front.
