The image is clickable if you want to see a larger version – and yes you can keep them for your desktops! More airplane art next … [Read more...]

Bombardier unveils the CRJ-900NextGen for American Airlines

21/05/2014 by Kevincm

Whilst I love the Embraer E-Jets, it seems some airline executives prefer the Bombardier CRJ family of products. In the case of American Airlines, they've gone both ways, with E-Jets operated by Republic Airlines - and the unveiling of the CRJ900NextGen for American Eagle, operated by PSA Airlines. New CRJ-900NextGen in American Eagle paintwork in the PSA Hanger at Dayton - … [Read more...]

Whilst I'm not giving the full blow by bow trip report, some thoughts: In Main Cabin Extra (Row 8), they're VERY … [Read more...]

Republic Airlines to fly more for American Eagle – more ERJ-175’s on the way

24/01/2013 by Kevincm

As Gary alluded to in his entry, Republic Airlines will be flying for American Airlines. From the looks of it, this is a major gain for Republic and Embraer, who will be supplying the fleet to American. The type has been selected is a favourite of mine on regional hops - The Embraer E-175. Republic Airlines have ordered 47 of the type, with 47 options to purchase - a … [Read more...]

13/09/2012 by Kevincm

American Eagle is buying extra capacity for flying in from Skywest Airlines and Express Jet. A total of 23 aircraft will be flying in American Eagle colours, with: 11 operated by ExpressJet 12 operated by SkyWest Alas, for lovers of comfort may wish to avoid these flights as they will be operated by Bombardier CRJ-200's which (I'm being generous here) are not my … [Read more...]
