The current long haul luggage set after a trip to Chicago. A 3 bag luggage set... with some extras (65ltr rucksack) after a Tokyo Trip  My "Light" Luggage set (2x Rucksacks) after a San Francsico Tier … [Read more...]

Maybe I've had experiences with bad suitcases before that have made me think twice, but it's more the portability of the things. I'm used to carrying my world on my back - quite literally. Near enough Zero of these bags are now in service :( - Salomon 150 to the … [Read more...]

Aer Lingus explains it a lot better than most in the form of a video. Simple and to the point... with an advert for buying a luggage allowance in advanced. Well, to be expected I suppose in these low cost travel … [Read more...]

Power cut at Gatwick – baggage all over the place

10/03/2012 by Kevincm

It seems there was a major outage at London Gatwick this morning. At 03:30GMT, there was a power cut that has hit the luggage carousels in the North Terminal at Gatwick. In turn this has caused flights to leave the airport without baggage. The belts begun working at 10:30GMT, with extra staff called in to sort the baggage manually. In some cases, baggage has not … [Read more...]

Travel Technology – This is how I roll…

03/01/2012 by Kevincm

Gary has written about his travel tech. As a paid up member of The IT Crowd (and yes, I have said "Have you tried switching it off and on" more than I care in my career so far), this is my travel kit when I haul anchor. Minor disclaimer - as well as an IT Person, I am a Photographer. The kit is therefore tailored to that need too. Computer Yes, I'm a Mac (and for me … [Read more...]
