Groupon Deal: £5 for a £45 Expedia voucher.

01/12/2010 by Kevincm

For those of you who use Groupon or are new to group buying, a little deal has tipped up today, with a £5 investment for £45 off Expedia hotels.

Whilst this is good, read the terms and conditions. Basically – not redeemable at chain hotels and requires a £280 minimum spend.

Head to Groupon and take advantage if you can.

Small print:

  • 1 voucher per person, may buy multiple as gifts
  • Voucher valid until 30th April 2011, 24 hours a day excluding 1st January to 18th February 2011
  • Voucher activates on Friday 3rd December at 2pm, valid for one booking
  • Go to Expedia.co.uk/groupon to make your booking, have voucher and security codes ready
  • Voucher valid for Hotel bookings only, minimum spend of £280
  • Voucher cannot be redeemed against Hotel bookings for Harrah’s, MGM, Starwood, Novotel, Sol Melia, Rezidor, Hilton Hotels, InterContinental, Accor, Sofitel, Mercure, Ibis, Pullman, MGallery, Suitehotel, All Seasons, Orbis or Marriot Hotels
  • Voucher cannot be used for previously made bookings and cannot be re-used, even in the event of changes or cancellations
  • Voucher entitles you to £45 off the price of a Hotel reservation before the application of any tax, applicable fees or additional costs
  • UK residents and over 18s only
  • Usual terms and condition apply at www.expedia.co.uk/daily/ voucher/groupon.aspx , all booking subject to availability
  • Not valid with other offers

If you can use it, go for it. £45 off a hotel (or £40 after you’ve spent £5) is a no brainer if you’re planning to spend over £250…  Also, with a bit of trying it might be combinable with QuidCo cashback and some Nectar points to boot….

Disclaimer: Yes, it’s a referral link.. and it refers back to me. I’ve got try must I? 😉
