China Southern has been busy, as the SkyTeam member has announced it’s first operations for it’s incoming A380 fleet.
The A380’s are planned to serve on daily China domestic services between Beijing-Guangzhou and Beijing-Shanghai Hongqiao.
Reasons cited include high domestic traffic on routes, and in the case of Beijing – Shanghai route, competition from the new High Speed Rail service.
For those with an international eye, the first International service will be Bejing Guangzhou-Paris CDG.
For those who love the Whalejet, the first China Southern A380 is due for delivery in September, the second in November, with ticket sales commencing on the 20th September.
