The tendrils of Emirates continues to expand, this time with a change of services to Moscow.
Emriates is planning to deploy a version of their Airbus A380 from 1st December 2012 to Moscow Domodedovo.
The aircraft will be configured with 517 seats and replace one of the existing rotations that Emirates operate to Moscow.
The revised changes shape up like this:

It seems this is a grab for more passenger traffic out of Moscow – both O&D and Connecting traffic. For Moscow Domodedovo Airport – it’s a bit of a bonus as this airport is the only one is Russia that is certified for Airbus A380 operations with purchases of equipment to handle A380’s taxing around the airport.
It’s also a minor snub at Transaero who have recently signed for Airbus A380’s, but have yet to have a delivery date for them.
Still for those of you who love connecting in Dubai, it’s another great connection to another part of the world.
