LAN is made up of lots of bits of LAN (LAN Argentina, LAN Ecuador and LAN Peru) have all joined oneworld, and now LAN Columbia will join the airline alliance. LAN merged with TAM, and these have yet to be integrated.
LAN Columbia serves 23 airports with a mixture of Boeing 737s Boeing 767s, Airbus A320s and Bombardier Dash8-200s, with 3.7 million passengers in 2012.
Repical earning will be implemented as well with oneworld LANPASS matching up to the following:
– LANPASS Comodoro and Comodoro Black will hold onworld Emerald
– LANPASS Premium Silver will hold Oneworld Sapphire
– LANPASS Premium will hold oneworld Ruby.
The next step for LAN will be for TAM and its Paraguayan affiliate TAM Mercosur to join oneworld. A target period of 2nd Quarter 2014 is anticipated.

I don’t like how Latin America is heading – the bulk of capacity controlled by LANTAM and Avianca-Taca duopoly.
Prices are outrageously high, and service is still mediocre (since they have no incentive to improve)
