Good afternoon from the DFW D Gates Admiral’s Club Lounge… and I’ve just arrived to find a very busy celebration has come to a close with the launch of American Airlines route from Dallas Forth to:
- Hong Kong
- Shanghai
Yep. My timing is classic as always
Here’s the information I managed to gleam without a press pass 😉
- Dallas Fort Worth – Hong Kong will operate with American Airlines “new” Boeing 777-300ER aircraft
- Dallas Fort Worth – Shanghai will be operating with American Airlines Boeing 777-200
Timings are unclear at time of writing, as the routes will require regulatory approval, and the start date of these routes will be in Summer 2014 (with no exact date set).
For those connecting from the fortress hub that is Dallas Fort Worth (which has AA planes as far as the eye can see, this will offer a great set of connections to the Far East.
I knew I should had run from the plane a bit quicker to get to the Lounge…
