UPDATE 2: London Underground and The Rail, Maritime and Transport Union have agreed to the strike to be suspended and services to continue as normal.
London Underground and Rail, Maritime and Transport union are in last-ditch talks today (Monday 5th May) to try and find a solution to the dispute.
I’ll try to keep abreast of the situation as the day develop.
It seems that the RMT and London Underground have not come to any agreement over the upcoming changes that Transport for London want to implement regarding the closure of ticket offices, and as such – another Underground strike is in the offing.

The last one was really difficult to navigate as a traveler. Now my most vivid memory of London is having strangers literally sitting on my lap on a packed tube. I definitely recommend giving yourself lots of time because even the running lines and the rails routinely skipped stops and made last minute changes, scuttling the best laid plans.
